I was playing ‘Scabby Queen’ with the Trainee Psychologist last night and enjoying these cards I’ve has for decades. I’ve lost the sheet that lists all the kings and queens. The hearts are the Stuarts (James VI, Mary and Bonnie Prince Charlie) and I think the spades are the ‘Macbeths’. In clubs I see Alexander III (who died by falling onto the railway track between Kinghorn and Burntisland) and Queen Margaret. Jokers are John Knox and Adam Smith.

After that my knowledge runs dry although I think I see Hanoverians. Anyone else recognise others?
